Joe Durfee provides the leadership and management necessary to ensure the success of Bouma Corporation while adhering to Bouma’s guiding principles. He directs and monitors the activities of the field and office employees and provides the leadership, motivation, and oversight needed to successfully complete projects. Joe has established a proven track record of managing new construction, addition, and renovation projects across multiple market segments from concept to completion. He takes great pride in identifying potential concerns before they exist and evaluating unique opportunities to proactively address them.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and Associate in Applied Science in Building Construction Technology Management from Ferris State University. He holds an ACG CM Lean certification, ASHE Healthcare Construction certification, is a LEED accredited professional, and completed the Green Roofs for Healthy Cities course.
